Writer's Workshop with Author Kim Eley / KWE Publishing

From Writer to Author -
What To Expect When You're Publishing

You've written your book - now what? Find out how to prepare to publish, the three types of publishing, and what you need to know. You'll gain great information and have Q&A.

Kim, an author, a writing coach, a publisher, and a speaker, is best known for snorting when she laughs. Kim brings magic to authors sharing their messages through her companies KWE Publishing and Zazu Zine + Comix.

A graduate of the College of William and Mary and Virginia Commonwealth University, Kim proves that an English major can indeed find employment. While she worked for years in IT and project management, she is currently an author, a publisher, and a speaker. Kim is passionate about helping others become their best selves - to find a career they love, to pursue what makes them "tick", and to look forward to getting out of bed every morning (yes, even on Mondays!) In 2018, she collaborated with authors to publish 12 books.

A member of the National Speakers Association, FAB Women, and LeanIn, Kim is involved in helping her community including volunteering for Read to Them, a nonprofit that promotes children's literacy. https://readtothem.org/ She was featured on SmartFem Media's TV show "Behind the Lines".

She adores cats, orchids, cooking for her husband and friends, and gets all her news from comedy channels.
