When she checked into a mental hospital the weekend of July 4th, 1989, Carolyn Baber's journey to uncover her past began. Years of therapy uncovered painful memories. As she confronted the truth of her upbringing, she also courageously raised herself out of the darkness. Turning to the loving, always honest energy of horses saved Carolyn, and created a powerful bond between her and her daughter, Courtenay.
